Pastoral Counseling Center
A ministry of the churches in the McMinn-Meigs Association of Baptists, Inc.
Purpose -
The Mission of the Pastoral Counseling Center is to provide Christian, Biblically Oriented Counseling, meeting the spiritual, relational and emotional needs of the people in our community and surrounding areas.
The Counseling Center is staffed by Christian counselors who are committed to clinical excellence. A biblical perspective is used as a foundation from which to address individual and family needs.
Counselor Credentials -
Dr. Jimmy McCarter has been in ministry for forty eight years. He holds a Master degree and Doctors degree in Christian Counseling and a Doctor of Ministry degree.
Rev. B.J. Tipton has been in ministry for more than forty years. He holds a Masters in Religious Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in counseling and communications and a Masters in Education in counseling from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Counseling sessions will be held at the McMinn-Meigs Baptist Center located at 350 North Congress Parkway in Athens, TN
